PKID Youth Volunteer Wins Power of Children Award

Jacob Baldwin, Chairman of Project KID's Youth Advisory Board, has been recognized for his work with Project KID by the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. The Power of Children Awards: Making a Difference is an annual event intended to honor and further empower middle and high school students (grades 6–11) who have made a significant impact on the lives of others, demonstrated selflessness and exhibited a commitment to service and the betterment of society.

Project K.I.D. Mentioned in New York Times: Child Reunification at Operation Golden Phoenix

“The personal relationships created by Golden Phoenix have had a real payoff: Angel Flight West, which provides free air travel for those with severe medical problems, and Project K.I.D., which aids children during natural disasters — formed a partnership to pre-screen pilots who can be at the ready to reunite children and their parents separated by disaster,“ wrote Steven Ganyard in a New York Times editorial.
